As a teacher, I know I will mind mapping a lot with my students. Personally, I find it most engaging when in small groups. This can help in brainstorming "Big Understanding" questions and topics. I recently discovered 3D mind mapping, which is great for kinesthetic learners, like me. Though it would take longer to build a 3D version, I think it would be worth the time if students are able to synthesize information in a way that works for them. |
